The Facelift Procedure
During the facelift procedure, Dr. Gustavo Ayala will make a few small incisions around the hairline and snip away extra fat, tissue, and skin. The underlying tissue and remaining skin are gently repositioned and tightened, a step that will smooth out the face and make for a fresher, younger appearance. The procedure is unique to every patient and is tailored to your own skin texture, muscle tone, and bone structure. Facelift Recovery

The Rhinoplasty Procedure
During the rhinoplasty procedure, Dr. Gustavo Ayala will make tiny incisions around the nostrils and gently reshape the nose as necessary. The facial bones may need to be repositioned. Depending on your rhinoplasty treatment goals, Dr. Ayala will remove any excess cartilage, bumps, or tissue from the nose; sculpt the tip; or narrow the bridge. No visible scarring should result from a rhinoplasty.
Rhinoplasty Recovery
After rhinoplasty surgery, you will experience some swelling, bruising, and other side effects, but these will subside within a few weeks' time. Full recovery from rhinoplasty can take up to a month; however, daily activities can generally be resumed within days of the procedure. The Blepharoplasty Procedure
During upper eyelid surgery, Dr. Ayala will make an incision in the crease of the eye's inside corner and carefully trim away excess fat, skin, and tissue. The remaining skin will then be tightened. In lower eyelid blepharoplasty, an incision is typically made along the eye's lower lids, where fat, tissue, and skin are removed. Any scarring from upper or lower eyelid blepharoplasty will usually fade to a thin, virtually invisible white line within about six months. In cases in which only fat (and not skin) needs to be removed, the incision may be made inside the lower lid, where it will leave no visible scar.
Blepharoplasty Recovery
Blepharoplasty is typically performed as an outpatient procedure here at Policlinica Imagen. Side effects can include swelling, dry eyes, bruising, and light sensitivity; however, these should generally dissipate within about 10 days.

Browlift
A minimally invasive procedure, browlift is especially popular with younger patients who are not ready for the full facelift. It is designed to rid the forehead of creases, loose skin, and wrinkles. A browlift can also eliminate the problem of a heavy or furrowed brow. In the procedure, Dr. Gustavo Ayala will make several tiny incisions along the scalp and gently insert a small light so that he can clearly see the tissues and muscles underneath. Then, he will carefully lift and reposition the surrounding tissue, skin, and muscles and, in some cases, the eyebrows. After the procedure is complete, Dr. Ayala will stitch the incision closed, after which it will heal over time. Some temporary discomfort around the incisions and some numbness are common side effects of browlift surgery. Recovery time is minimal for this procedure, usually taking about 10 days. The end result is a younger, more refreshed appearance. The browlift procedure is often performed in conjunction with other facial cosmetic surgery procedures, such as facelift surgery and blepharoplasty, for maximum effect.
Chin Implants
Chin implants are a safe, discreet solution to a weak or too-small chin. They can bring balance and harmony to the face, giving you a more beautiful, symmetrical look.
Chin augmentation involves an incision made inside the mouth or under the chin. Dr. Ayala will create a pocket under the chin muscles and insert the implant. Some swelling and bruising is common after the procedure, but these are temporary side effects, and residual pain can be alleviated with medication.
