Laser Skin Resurfacing

The Laser Skin Resurfacing Procedure
Laser skin resurfacing usually begins with the injection of a local anesthetic at the treatment site; an oral sedative may also be used if necessary. Then, Dr. Gustavo Ayala will use a controlled beam of laser light to vaporize the outer skin layers. This process will ultimately reveal the smoother skin layer beneath and stimulate the growth of new skin.
Laser Skin Resurfacing Recovery
There are some side effects that can occur after laser skin resurfacing, although these are typically minor and should fade away quickly. These possible side effects include redness and swelling in the treatment area, as well as a feeling like that associated with a mild sunburn. In some cases, though rare, side effects have included scarring, pigmentation changes, and burning. Dr. Ayala will discuss the risks and benefits of laser skin resurfacing in detail with you at your consultation. Restylane®
Restylane® treatment is a long-lasting way to reduce the prominence of wrinkles or to add volume to the lips. This dermal filler typically requires no allergy testing because it contains no animal proteins.
